The love I have for all of my Nebraska girls this year is unreal. I connected with Alyssa right away. She was so sweet, outspoken and fun to be around. I was lucky to be able to photograph this amazing girl twice, once in summer and once in the fall and both times were pure magic! PLUS, she was the first senior this year that I literally thought to myself, "I guess I don't mind studio shots as much anymore..." And coming from someone who swore they would only do natural light ALWAYS that's a pretty big deal. Enjoy a few favorites from Alyssa's sessions with me!
This classic set up is so fresh! I love the bright whites paired with Alyssa's black, lace top. It is so striking!
After the studio, we headed out for a few urban locations in and around Wagner. Alyssa was the first to try that dark staircase this summer and I love, love, love it!
We ventured down o the river afterward and that's where we lost all the breeze we had that was keeping us cool. And it was about the temperature of the sun after that. But Miss Alyssa here was cool as a cucumber and we finished strong.
Probably most cool as cucumber because she got to take a dip in her gorgeous prom dress! **Photographers, and clients, if you are reading this and viewing this image. Please be mindful of putting clients in the water with their prom dress. Make sure they can see their feet and not go too deep. Fabric, especially that of wedding and prom dresses, gets extremely heavy when wet.**
Ah and all these gorgeous fall images. We had such a colorful fall this year and I think people across the lake probably heard me make some sort of high pitched squeak when I shot that one in the sumac. Holy Hannah I love that image too, too much.
I love so many of your images, Alyssa! Thanks so much for coming to see me for both your summer and fall sessions! Best of luck in college, my dear!
