Oh, my girl, Steph. She's the first KSP Senior Model that I get to blog about and brag about. I can remember back to the beginning when I was reading through her application and just knowing this girl was going to be special to us. She is a kind heart and a sweet smile all wrapped up in to one of the most genuine young people I've met in a very long time. She comes from a wonderful family (and I'm not just saying that because they fed Dan and I steak) that I've come to love and I'm just so honored to know.
Through the whole process of being a Senior Model, I see these girls a lot. They have a lot of photo opportunities, I see them at sporting events -- they become part of my family. And I'm just heartbroken every time they graduate. But, I digress. Back to Stephanie. Her sessions were full of adventure, laughter and enough memories to last a lifetime (including a pretty funny attempt of me trying to get and then get off of a hay bale and me nearly falling down a hill to try to get to some downed birch trees). I could tell you story after story about this wonderful lady, but I'll just show you some of my favorite images from our time together over the past year. Between the studio, Deadwood for the group trip, the MVP track and her family farm, there are lots to look at. Enjoy some of our faves.
Steph's mama made this cool board for all of Stephanie's athletic accomplishments. One section for each year of high school! I thought this was probably one of the neatest ways to display all of those metals, letters and plaques!
I'm so proud of all of your accomplishments this year, Steph! And I'm even more excited to watch you grow into an amazing nurse anesthetist at Mt. Marty over the next four years. Congratulations, to you, my dear girl! You're off to do big things!
