I've done lots of things over the course of my years as a senior photographer. But setting something on fire was a first for me. And guys...I was nervous. Since we did that first, I could picture frying off an eyebrow or a chunk of hair. But hey, we did it and it was awesome and I can mark that off the ol' work bucket list.
But hey, lets talk a little more about Jayci. She's kind and wonderful and honestly just the coolest cat. We had a wonderful evening with gorgeous light and too many laughs to count (thanks, Dan).
Enjoy a few of our favorites!
I was not joking about the whole bat on fire thing. But it worked! And these are some of my favorite softball images from all year! Go Kernels!
Sometimes the most unexpected locations work best. I find weird little spots that I'm sure all my mamas are secretly saying....what? But hey, it works and at the end of the day, I loved these simple images of Jayci!
We did a quick hair change back at Samantha's shop and paired with this gorgeous olive jacket and the amazing light that swept over us near the middle of Jayci's session, it was literally the perfect combo.
I LOVE this field. It is gorgeous during every single season and pairs so well with every single color. If I could live in this field, I probably would.
And you have to love a good Midwestern beach. We aren't blessed with access to the ocean, but I will never tire of shooting down by the beautiful water that we do have. And can we just take two seconds to talk about that image on the bottom row, far left? Like...genuinely one of my most favorite "serious" images of this year. Beautiful, inside and out.
We loved working with you and making you laugh, Jayci! Thanks for choosing KSP!
